A hobby gives you time to relax which can, in turn, reduce your stress level. A physical one involves exercise that will release endorphins to boost your mood and mental faculties. What is more it can also help you find new helpful life skills, uncover hidden talents or become your new long-term passion. You may also meet new friends, keep your brain sharp, or make some extra money on the side.

-       DIY - Buy a book on DIY and start on anything that needs fixing around your house, make your own clothes or give your friends self-made presents.

In today`s world of high stress and speed, meditating is one of the best ways to improve your life. This is a great hobby because it is very easy to get started in and testing out. You can easily start meditating in your own home as early as today!
-       Learn To Dance-  this low-cost hobby is great for your body and an enjoyable pastime. Use Youtube videos and tutorials to teach yourself new dance moves, such as this video teaching you basis steps for beginners, or simply join a dance class

-       Reading - especially through your local library
-       Writing – all you need is a pen and paper
-       Listening to music- it is stress-relieving and inspiring and you can do that while reading or writing

You can even expand your local knowledge by taking out books of local history or local flora and fauna from the library and learning to identify the historical sites and plants, birds, and creatures you find along the way.
